ABC Academy International, Abuja, Nigeria, is a NurseryPrimary school of 365 pupils. There is a teaching staff of 40 and a further 25 administrative and support staff. The school was founded in 1996, with the express intention of offering high quality education, and impacting knowledge to the children of Nigeria and international families. It is situated in Utako, a pleasant residential district of the fast-developing capital city of Abuja.
This academy offers its own curriculum, which is very closely modeled on the Montessori, American and Nigeria systems of Education. Our system is so unique that it has received commendation from the Inspectorate Division of the Ministry of Education. The ECOWAS Secretariat has also endorsed this academy for all their children. The school is duly accredited by the Inspectorate Division of the Federal Ministry of Education.
The ABC philosophy is based on tender love, individual attention and sound knowledge, hence our motto:Knowledge is Power.
French is introduced from Nursery school and children have weekly lessons in Art, Music, Computer and P.E., as well as the normal range of core curriculum subjects.
The teaching staff are all qualified, degree holders. A regorous ongoing programme of in-house training ensures that all staffs are well informed and are updated in the current happenings and events in the educational sector.
As Headmaster, I am determined that the teachers are well supervised and made to impact qualitative education, and the children themselves are treated with love and tender care.
